It's Worth Knowing - STI Screening Service

When:
Thursday, December 07, 2017 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Where:
Student Health Center
Description:

Screening for sexually transmitted infections at the Student Health Center is not a new service, but has been revamped to better accommodate the need of students and to make the overall process easier. Students can now be seen in our nurse clinic for STI screenings, which cuts the cost of an office visit and makes the overall service more efficient. Students will also be able to receive a FREE HIV test provided by the SHARE grant and funded by SAMHSA. If you have insurance with preventive coverage, you may not pay anything at all for this service. If you are uninsured or out of network screenings will cost about $65. This price includes screening for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis and a FREE HIV test. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 512-245-2161.
