Houston-based flutist Sergio Pallotelli, holds degrees from the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, University of Utah and Yale School of Music. He tours extensively in Europe, South America and the US and will be joining the faculty at the Longy School of Music in Boston in Fall 2017. Pallotelli's recitals are multi-faceted as he searches for innovative programs that include standard pieces mixed with his own transcriptions adapting works from string and wind repertoire. In the summers, he teaches and performs at the Zodiac Festival in France and Flauti al Castello in Italy.

Open to the public.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://www.txstatepresents.com or at the door.  the ticket booth will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.  Fee-based parking is available at the Edward Gary Street Garage, located across the street from the Performing Arts Center.  (Attention students enrolled in the Department Recital course: This is a GOLD event).
