Join us for the World Premiere of Machine Become Music by Texas State University composition professor Michael Ippolito!   The program will also include March for the Sultan Abdul Medjid by Gioacchino Rossini, Emblems by Aaron Copland, and "Now All Lies Under Thee" from Symphony No. 9 by David Maslanka.

The Texas State Wind Symphony is comprised of the most outstanding wind and percussion majors at the university as selected by audition. The ensemble is dedicated to the performance of the finest wind band repertoire whether contemporary or traditional.

Open to the public.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://www.txstatepresents.com or at the door.  The ticket booth will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Fee-based parking is available at the Pleasant Street Garage, located across the street from the Music Building and near Evans Auditorium.  The fee may be paid at the kiosk located on the lowest level of the garage.  (Attention students enrolled in the Department Recital course: This is a MAROON event).
